Rosemary R. Alexander

Legal Experience:
Mrs. Alexander was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 1979 and practiced law for several years in Texas before returning to Illinois where she was licensed in 1997. Since her admission to the Illinois Bar, Mrs. Alexander has practiced matrimonial law exclusively and has been with the firm since 1998.

Memberships:
Mrs. Alexander is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, The Texas Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association and the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County. She is a Certified Children’s Representative and Guardian Ad Litem in Lake County, Illinois.

Admissions Information:
Mrs. Alexander is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, the State of Illinois and the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Supreme Court.

Educational Background:
Mrs. Alexander received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois in 1970. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in 1979.

Accolades and Awards:
Editor, Southwestern Law Journal. Mrs. Alexander has been selected by her peers to be a member of the Leading Lawyers Network published by the Illinois Law Bulletin.  Mrs. Alexander is frequently appointed by the Courts to represent children in custody disputes.

Publications and Lectures:
While at SMU, Mrs. Alexander was on law review and served as an Editor of the Southwestern Law Journal, where she is published.  Mrs. Alexander has served as a lecturer for the Matrimonial Business Institute.
