Legal Experience:

Ms. Nosko is an experienced attorney who has exclusively focused her practice in the area of family law. Ms. Nosko began her legal career as a law clerk in 2003 for the Presiding Judge of the Cook County Domestic Relations Division and later at a Chicago family law firm.   Ms. Nosko began working as an associate attorney at a Chicago family law firm in 2005, where she was named Partner in 2014.  In 2017, Ms. Nosko joined Katz, Goldstein & Warren as a partner.  Ms. Nosko has extensive family law litigation experience involving matters which include division of assets, maintenance, child support, business valuations, discovery and complex financial analysis, retirement plans and benefits, allocation of parental responsibilities and parenting time.  She has also participated in litigation before the Illinois Appellate Court and Illinois Supreme Court.

Ms. Nosko’s practice is built on a foundation which includes strong communication with her clients and an ability to adapt to the unique circumstances of each case.

Ms. Nosko is licensed to practice law in Illinois and United States District Court, Northern Division of Illinois.

Ms. Nosko is a certified child representative and guardian ad litem in the Circuit Court of Lake County.

Educational Background:

Ms. Nosko received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science in 1999 with honors from the University of Illinois, and her Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, in 2005 from DePaul University College of Law, where she focused her studies on Family Law. During her undergraduate experience at the University of Illinois, Ms. Nosko spent three years as a legal advocate for the North West Center against Sexual Assault specializing in the area of domestic violence. While at DePaul, Ms. Nosko was a member of Law Review, awarded numerous merit awards including the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Writing, Contracts, and also spent a year as a clerk in the Office of the Honorable Moshe Jacobius, Presiding Judge, Domestic Division, Cook County Illinois, during which she assisted several judges in the Domestic Relations Division with legal research and draft opinions and orders.

Ms. Nosko has been featured on Fox News regarding several matters in family law including the use of technology in divorce cases. Ms. Nosko’s work has also been the subject of articles in the Chicago Tribune, Sun-Times, and other publications, regarding her involvement in cases with professional athletes and disputes over family pets.
